i loved how spacious and comfortable my king room was, and it was conveniently located just a short walk from both the brown county museum of history and the charming santa fe railroad depot, making it easy to soak in the local culture and beautiful park views during my stay.

The king room was roomy and very comfy with air conditioning, hardwood floors, and a private bathroom. The fridge and coffee maker were super handy. Access to the fitness center and pool was a nice touch. Staff offered great recommendations for local restaurants and the breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.

Comfortable stay with amazing breakfast

I had a lovely one-night stay in a King Room. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel welcome right away. The breakfast surpassed my expectations, offering a variety of delicious options that got my day started off right. However, the room could use some updates, particularly the carpet and mattress.

The decor in the Best Western Plus Riata Hotel was charming, with warm colors and comfortable seating areas that made navigating easy for seniors. The staff's attentiveness added to the welcoming atmosphere, making my stay truly enjoyable.

Improve Wi-Fi connectivity for ease of use.

The stay was quite pleasant, especially since we were visiting the local museums and historical sites. The suite exceeded our expectations with its spacious design and comfort. The only downsides were some minor issues with the wet bar and the couch being a bit uncomfortable, but overall it was a wonderful experience.

The room was fab with a cute kitchenette and two TVs. Those blackout shades were life-savers for my beauty sleep, and the bathroom lighting was just perfect, darling!

However, the shower head had a vendetta against my height—awkward situation! And don’t even get me started on the wall sounds. I thought I was at a symphony concert!

The complimentary breakfast hit the spot with biscuits and sausage patties, although we gave up on scrambled eggs after 15 minutes. The location is handy, with easy access to major highways and a variety of nearby restaurants—definitely a plus for a traveler on the go.

Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a handful of issues. We ended up in a small double room instead of the king suite we booked, leading to a frustrating swap with some business travelers. The bathroom door had difficulties closing and locking properly, which felt more like a safety concern than an inconvenience. Minor quirks also popped up, like a leaky faucet at the wet bar and uncomfortable couch cushions that could use more support. Plus, noise levels at all hours disrupted any chance of solid sleep.

The baked chocolate cake from the snack bar was a slice of heaven! Plus, the mattress in our Queen Room was just right, giving us sweet dreams. Oh, and the pillows were comfortably cozy, too!

The only hiccup? Staying on the first floor next to the breakfast area was a bit noisy. Our window was leaky, letting in loud guests and a whiff of cigarette smoke.
